A sad day indeed for free speech on wordpress…

It’s recently come to my attention then a friend and fellow blogger has been permanently BANNED from WordPress.com.

girl-boy-socialising-pb-516341-DonCharisma.org-1024LEJason Cushman’s blog HarsH ReaLiTy is going to be closed down shortly, which is a very sad end to an era of Jason doing so much for the WordPress community, and bringing NEW and PROGRESSIVE ideas into blogging. He is in blogging terms CHARISMA PERSONIFIED. Jason had this to say :

      A successful blogger who is notably contraversial for his opinions is being banned from WordPress for “spamming”. The content of his blog doesn’t constitute spam so I can only assume that someone didn’t like what he was saying or got offended. His blog is very popular and is openly not politically correct. I don’t like or agree with a lot of what I read on his blog but I appreciate that he was one of my first followers and the attention that he tries to bring to new bloggers’ sites. I feel like the internet is founded on the freedom of speech and information and shutting someone down for opinions that aren’t inciting hate or violence is going against the principles of blogging.
