Yesterday morning I woke to a message from my friend Mike. Our friend Stu had been admitted to the ICU the night before and passed away earlier that morning. I hadn’t known Stu very long. He recently become a co-worker though I had met him once or twice over the last few years. He was a great guy to talk to, always exhibiting patience and a quiet demeanor, and he helped me to remember to be more servant minded while on the job.
Please pray for Stu’s wife Kate, his family, and his friends. His passing was unexpected and everyone is quite shaken by it. While it is painful, I am comforted with knowing him as a believer in Christ who I know is taking away his suffering now.
Vaya con Dios amigo. You are missed.
