“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” – Proverbs 27:1
We live in a very busy time. People are constantly going here and there; our days filled by a to-do list that never seems to end. We have computers, tablets, smartphones, and day planners to track our lists and make sure we are on time for scheduled appointments. While these are good to have, it is more important to remember these words of Solomon the Wise.
Life goes on and we have things that need to get done, but do not focus on them so much that you forget that each day is a gift from God. We are never promised tomorrow and everything can change in the blink of an eye.
Pray for the Father’s perspective on the day and orient yourself toward accomplishing what He is wanting you to do.
“We are never promised tomorrow”…wisdom of God right there. My take is that if we can learn to worry less about tomorrow but instead live our today as if it were the last, I think our attitude of being grateful and full of gratitude towards God can improve a lot….Thanks brother for the message.
