“Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the Lord has spoken…” – Isaiah 1:2a
The first time I read this line it jumped out at me. God is speaking to His creation, but is anyone listening? The heavens and earth speak of His glory and power. The birds, the fish, the animals, the plants, and the elements that make up our world speak of His creativity and His nature. As awesome as that is, only man has been given the revelation of His word and the presence of His Spirit. The maker of the universe is speaking to us, but is anyone listening?
Pray today for clarity in hearing and understanding Him as He speaks to you.
