Okay, so maybe announcing a whole playlist project with a 7 day turn around while in a foreign country adopting a child and working on buying a new home was a little ambitious, but at least one playlist is ready to go!
As I was building the playlist I added a ton of the classics but realized that wasn’t really what I wanted for this playlist. Instead, I wanted it to focus on Christ-centered Christmas and Hanukkah songs (for the most part), but I’m also not a huge fan of massive playlists that are ever-so-common with modern streaming services. You see, I grew up making mixtapes in the 90’s and early 00’s for my friends and got pretty good at it. Each mix has a flow to it that should be pleasing to listen to rather than just being a collection of songs thrown together. So in the spirit of the the mixtapes of old, I arranged this playlist as such. So far I’ve only got the Apple Music version done but I’ll get the Spotify one done later today. And hopefully I’ll be able to figure out how to embed a music player on the site, but until then, follow the link below.
